The Swarovski crystals could be seen in the lobby, as I drove up to the Sparkling Hill Resort. The curvilinear terrane to this resort was definitely worth it, from the drive up the Coquihala, to smooth ride up Predator Ridge. The sight was magnificent, snow capped trees were in view, with the lake just outside the resort.

Sparkling Hill Resort was nothing less than superb. The spa destination resort has seven different steams and saunas, encompassing traditional european preventative health practices. The only cold sauna in North America called Cryotherapy cold sauna is located in the KurSpa, along with the indoor salt water pool which plays underwater music inducing entire relaxation. The hot pool is refreshing after this and the outdoor infinity pool. The KurSpa also contains the Kneipp Water way, which is another European health practice, a water-stepping technique that aids the circulatory, lympatic and nervous systems. The serenity room is one of my favorites. This open concept white, tranquil room was spent reading in and enjoying the floor to ceiling window view of the great Okanagan Lake and Monashee Montains. The Tea room was beautiful, with floor to ceiling windows showcasing the brilliant views while offering herbal teas to really relax. A fitness studio helped start our morning right with a quick workout. This quick getaway was a treasure surrounded by beautiful nature.
