In 2013, Jason started “Men and Women of Vancouver”, which showcased stylish professionals around the city, who also contribute to the community at large. Featuring photo-shoots of 35 professionals at over 70 popular restaurants, lounges, and cafes around Vancouver, this was where Jason’s styling life took off.

He became a brand ambassador and influencer of lifestyle for companies such as lululemon, M&P Yacht Centre, Aurora Jet Partners, Four Seasons Hotel, Rolls-Royce as well as others. These opportunities allowed him to experience how different brands work.

InJanuary of 2014 is when Jason’s first opportunity in the suiting world arrived. He was offered to design an exclusive Style by Sarai line of suits and tuxedos, which were made by Coppley, and sold at a menswear boutique in West Vancouver. Initially thought to be a small collection, it concluded to be 13 designs, ranging from sport coats, suits, and tuxedos. It debuted in summer 2014 with both ready-to-wear and made to measure models. This venture served as a first step in creating Jason’s bespoke suiting line.

After getting a taste of suiting earlier that year, Jason decided to take it a step further. During the fall of 2014, “Sarai Bespoke” came into existence. Alongside a local Master Tailor in Vancouver, Sarai Bespoke originated with two fabric mills. Today, this business has now added two Bespoke Stylists and Brand Ambassadors, and has also grown its fabric offerings to encompass 20 world-renowned mills, such as, Ermenegildo Zegna, Scabal, Loro Piana, Canclini, and Ariston, to name a few.

Now, adding “GQ Insider,” “Top 50 Inspiring Alumni of Simon Fraser University” and attending the world's largest menswear trade sow, Pitti Uomo 90-94 in Florence, Italy, to his resume, Jason has went from being fashion advisor for family and friends, to the trusted bespoke stylist for professionals and grooms-to-be, enhancing their confidence and consequently nurturing a growing brand with international appeal.

Giving back is a core value in Jason's life. In 2012, Jason and Riaz Meghji, Host of Breakfast TV, co-founded 1KARMA. 1KARMA is a not-for-profit group that seeks local charitable programs supporting them by fundraising and creating awareness.

In 2017, Riaz and Jason represented 1KARMA, joining 57 local executives and professionals of Vancouver to raise awareness and funds for homeless youth through Covenant House. This was their 6th year sleeping out in an alley, experiencing the reality that homeless youth face on a daily basis. 1KARMA is proud to be a part of a collective effort that surpassed the fundraising goal  by raising $900K to this incredible organization.  Jason is humbled to be asked to join as a Executive Committee member for Covenant House's annual SLEEP OUT.

Through a recommendation by Covenant House, Jason was invited to be a Co-Chair of the Nordstrom Opening Gala in 2015. More than 2,000 people attended this sold-out gala and fashion show, with the event raising $420K, benefiting B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation, B.C. Women’s Hospital & Health Centre Foundation, Covenant House Vancouver, and Vancouver Art Gallery.

Jason Sarai’s undeniable sense of style captures a modern twist on classic, European menswear. The Creative Director of Sarai Bespoke, widely known for being the founder of Style by Sarai, has made a substantial impact on the men’s fashion sector around Canada. With countless collaborations with luxury groups, such as Aston Martin, Bentley, Porsche, Rolex, Hublot and Omega,, Lexus, he has undoubtedly become a sought-after advocate on business, fitness and lifestyle.

Early on, Jason’s future seemed to be destined for the athletic world. He nationally played competitive soccer for Canada’s youth program, collegiately in the United States for the NCAA, and returned back to Canada to join the NAIA. He also participated in professional try-outs in England. This sport afforded him opportunities to travel abroad, giving him a source of style inspiration from an early age.

Having completed his degree in Kinesiology, Jason deferred chiropractic school to pursue a career in finance. In 2008, he began his career as a Wealth Management Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities, Canada’s largest financial brokerage firm. This is where Jason developed his wealth management and lifestyle coaching skills for high net worth clientele. It gave him the platform to succeed in his future venture, Style by Sarai, and also allowed him to envision an area of potential opportunity, because this is where his affinity for suits grew.

Having always been the go-to man for style advice among family and friends, Jason decided to take a step further. Films, such as “Crazy, Stupid, Love,” “Hitch,” and “James Bond”, served as inspiration for Jason to create his own styling business. As a creative outlet and passion project, Style by Sarai began with style consulting packages for professionals, executives, and entrepreneurs. Jason recognized that most successful business people simply lacked the time to keep up with style trends, to which he utilized his background in finance to build a clientele of well-to-do professionals and help them alleviate that problem. Thus, Style by Sarai was born. It is a multifaceted fashion, design, image, and lifestyle consulting business.

When leaving his financial career in 2013 to pursue creating Style by Sarai, Jason returned to the health sector through Catalyst Kinetics Group in Burnaby, British Columbia. CKG is a holistic, multi-disciplinary approach to Health, Wellness & Performance. Jason acted as CEO, as well as Vice President, of Catalyst Kinetics Group, focusing on fitness, active rehabilitation, and business development.
